How does PTS work?
Each participant signs an individualized contract based on their current
needs. This contract provides accountability and defines all elements of the
program.
Participants are randomly drug tested at least twice a month and are
required to attend bimonthly relapse prevention groups. Each individual
meets once a month with their primary PTS staff member for a thorough evaluation
and every participant's care is supervised by a certified addiction physician.
The PTS contract is designed to work with the participant's therapists and
physicians. It is not a substitute for individual
or family therapy.
Who should enroll in PTS?
PTS is available for anyone eighteen or older, who has successfully
completed a primary treatment program for alcohol and/or drug abuse and lives
in
California
or
Arizona
.
What about relapse?
One of the unique features of the PTS program is the twenty-four hour
availability of a qualified staff member. If a participant is slipping back into relapse behavior, PTS is there to
help, day or night.
PTS is cost effective.
The cost of the program, (which may be partially reimbursed by insurance),
is priced according to each participant's needs. The basic monthly program
includes two relapse prevention groups, two drug tests, a one-on-one
evaluation, and twenty-four hour support. The founders of PTS are committed to
making the program available to as many people as possible, thus keeping the
cost reasonable and affordable for those who make the
commitment to long-term recovery.
